Fans of the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile multi-player game are are now able to play a new mode tagged, "Metro Royale".

I am also a huge PUBG fan, and I will like to explain how this new mode works.

What Is Metro Royale Mode In PUBG?

The Metro Royale mode is a new release which came with the PUBG Mobile 1.1 update globall, and has introduced some exciting new features to the game. This is made possible with the collaboration of a popular game known as "Metro Exodus".

The Metro Royale mode can be found on the game menu as an independent regular battle royale mode, and comes with an entirely different lobby and theme song. An alternative entrance to this mode is by touching the metro tunnel entrance in the main screen.

Features Of Metro Royale mode in pubg

From the Lobby of the Metro Royale mode, you will see that the feature are quite different from the classic mode. You will find five buttons (Loadout, Black Market, Talent, Command post, Rankings), and I will be explaining the function of each below.

The loadout screen helps the player determine the weapons and other items to be used in the game.

You can also sell items for metro cash from the loadout screen by tapping Sell. 

It is advisable to always purchase needed items like consumables, sight or amor before heading to loadout screen.

You can purchase needed items by clicking the black market button. Here you will find different weapons, armor, consumables, attachments and other items.

The talent tree is made up of many talent modes and increases character's attributes.

At the Command Post screen, players can check Favorability with non-player characters (NPCs), read NPC backstories and give them Favorability-boosting gifts.

Here you can check player rankings, and your current rank in the Metro Royale mode.

Metro Royale Rules and Gameplay

The rules and gameplay of the PUBG Metro Royale mode is not that complicated. Upon starting a game, a player can return back to the lobby through the two returning points marked on the two sides of the map.

A player can collect loot and decide to exit to the lobby through these points, and these items can be exchanged for Metro Cash.

If the players fail to survive and can't make it to the exit points, their current in-game items will be lost. Items stored in the Lock Box will be brought back to you, irrespective of whether you win or lose the match. This means that players can move more valuable items in the lock box to safeguard them, in case they fail to return.
