How to Easily Join Video Clips Together on your iPhone

What is iMovie?

iMovie is a free-to-use video editing application that is preinstalled on your macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices. The app was developed by Apple Inc. to enable its users to make more advanced edits like joining videos together.

How to join videos on an iPhone using iMovie

Follow the steps below to get started:

1. First, go to the Apple Store here and download the iMovie app on your iPhone.
2. Open the iMovie app and click "Continue" when you see the Welcome to iMovie screen.
3. Tap "Create Project."
4. From the New Project screen, tap "Movie."
5. The iMovie app starts with your recent photos and videos. Tap "Media" at the top left.
6. Then tap "Video" and then, from the Video page, select the folder where your videos are located. If you select "All," you will see all the videos stored on your iPhone.
7. Now, select a video you want to join with another video. In the pop-up, tap the checkbox to add the video to your project.
8. Tap the other videos you want to join, then proceed to tap the checkbox to add them to your project. 
9. Tap "Create Movie" at the bottom of the screen after you've added all the video clips you want to join.
10. You can now preview and include transitions between the video clips from the "My Movie" screen. To add a transition, scroll through the video until you find a cut point where you can tap the transition icon to choose the transition style.
11. Finally, tap "Done" at the top left of the screen when you're satisfied with the edited video.

That's all. You can now tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen to send your edited video to others.
