You can’t find your remote control to power your TV as usual, or perhaps the remote control suddenly stops working or you’re just curious to know where the power button is located on a Samsung TV.
The first question to ask is “Do Samsung TVs have a power button?” Yes, all Samsung TVs have a power button, but the locations for this button can vary depending on the model you have.
The power button on a Samsung TV is located in the middle of the front portion of the TV. If it’s not there check the bottom of the bezel by the right-hand side as you’re facing the TV, on the back of the TV by the right or left side, or on the front left or right bezel of the TV.
In the sections below, I’ll be going through each of the power button locations mentioned above with pictures of the exact places to look on your Samsung TV.
Where Is the Power Button on a Samsung TV?
1. Middle Front, Underneath the TV
The most common place to find a power button on a TV is the middle front side or underneath the TV. For some Samsung TV models, this might be where to find the power button.
To check for the power button at this location, look at the front of the TV for a power button or reach underneath the center of the TV and feel around until you can locate it.

2. Bottom Right-hand Side of the TV
This location is quite terrible for a power button because it is located somewhere most TV owners won’t bother to look. This location is the bottom of the bezel by the right-hand side as you’re facing the TV.
So, you have to look under the right-hand side of the TV as you’re facing it from the front. You can also carefully bend over the TV and find the button.
The power button is exactly behind the receiver that interacts with your remote.

3. Front Bezel of the TV
Some Samsung TV models have the power button alongside the volume and channel control buttons on the front bezel of the TV.
These are known as touch control buttons and can be found on the front right or left bezel of the TV. This is the exact location of the power button for older Samsungs.
4. Back of the TV
If you have searched the previous locations and you still haven’t found the power button on your Samsung TV, then the last place to check is the back of the TV.
This will require you to move your TV from the wall and look at the back, right or left-hand side for a small power button.
If you have checked all these locations on your Samsung TV and can’t still find the power button, then you’ll have to consult your TV manual.

Samsung TV Manuals for All Models
The best place to find specific details about your TV is in the user manual for your exact model number and year.
You can find your model number and some information on the back of the TV.
The archive of all TV manuals on the Samsung support page will provide a manual based on your model number, and in the manual, there are detailed diagrams of where buttons are located on the TV.
